Loading some expired Kodak Max into my Canon T50. A camera I’ve actually had for a while, but just haven’t gotten around to testing out. There was always another camera more interesting, or better equipped. It is programmed autoexposure only, making it basicslly a point and shoot slr. It is also Canon’s first slr with built in automatic film advance. 📸 02/04/26 📷 Nikkormat FTn 🎞️ Ilford hp5+ I can’t believe it’s been a year since I graduated from college! Since then, I’ve began working for two photography companies, one where I take school portraits and the other where I photograph homes for real estate. For the latter job, I studied for and passed the FAA Part 107 Drone License test! I am so so happy I decided to pursue photography as a career, and while it’s not been easy, I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished so far and am excited for what the future holds! While at my nana’s house today, I found a photo taken around 1918 of my great grandmother (middle) my great great grandmother (right) and my great great great grandmother (left). I knew my great grandmother, who passed away at nearly 103 back in 2016. It’s so amazing to me that I can see what my ancestors looked like! Phoenix II shot on my Nikomat EL, and oh boy was this film all over the place! These photos have not been edited. They range in tint from green to yellow to pink. The only colors this film seemed to record accurately were orange and red, and it recorded them quite vividly! Phoenix II is an experimental film stock in its second iteration after being created from scratch by Harmen Technology. Brough my early 60s Miranda hiking with me today! My two oldest cameras, and my favorite photos taken with them! First is a 1946 Ciro-flex model B and the second is a 1948 Olympus Chrome Six II. The Ciro-flex is an American twin lens reflex and the Chrome Six is a Japanese folding bellows camera. Both are fully mechanical and take 120mm film. Here’s a quick video about how to clean your vintage film camera! I had the opportunity to photograph my childhood church this past December, here are the results!
